Products for oily and problematic skin effectively address excess sebum secretion and regulate various forms of acne. However, combining multiple products of similar composition can lead to the opposite effect – skin dryness. That’s why careful product selection is key. If your skin is oily but you want to avoid excessive drying, the VZK cleansing gel with salicylic acid gently cleanses and removes impurities without additional drying. You can also complement the routine with a prebiotic cream for normal/combination skin or a panthenol cream-gel. This way we regulate sebum while retaining moisture and the balance of the skin microbiome.

Anti-aging care can begin in your twenties, focusing primarily on hydration and sun protection, then gradually introducing hydrating serums (hyaluronic acid, panthenol, squalane) and gentle antioxidants (vitamin C, E). From the thirties, one may start introducing initial anti-aging ingredients such as retinoids, peptides, and AHAs. Genetics, skin condition, and texture should also be considered so that the overall care is consistent with all skin needs.

For extremely sensitive skin, it is important to choose products with as few potential irritants as possible and mild but effective active ingredients. The VZK Sensitive line contains squalane, panthenol, and bisabolol – excellent soothing ingredients. The CICA line helps skin recovery, calms redness and irritation, and the Hyaluron line restores hydration and softens wrinkles.

The purpose of a serum is to deliver active ingredients deep into the skin – it has a lightweight watery or gel texture and higher concentration – while a cream locks in moisture – being denser and more protective. Serum works quickly but cannot retain moisture on its own; thus combining serum and cream is much more effective. Apply serum morning and evening to clean, still damp skin using gentle tapping. Once the serum is absorbed, apply cream to complete the skincare step.
